Shopify sought to establish a vibrant TikTok presence to increase engagement and connect with e-commerce enthusiasts after a period of inactivity.

What we've done

Akari and Co developed an organic TikTok strategy that leveraged edutainment to create engaging and educational content tailored to Shopify's target audience. Due to NDA constraints, we’re only able to share sampled metrics up to April, reflecting the campaign's early success.

Creative Process

1. Edutainment Content: Produced videos that blended educational insights with entertainment, showcasing Shopify’s tools in an approachable way.

2. Performance Optimization: Focused on maximizing viewer retention, engagement, and total views to align with TikTok’s algorithm and increase visibility.

3. Keyword Optimization: Leveraged TikTok’s SEO capabilities to inform scripts and descriptions, strategically targeting long-tail keywords to attract sustained search traffic and enhance discoverability of organic content.
